Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

How does the rental process work?

  • Come in and talk with one of our Storage Advisors M-F 9-5 to complete the paperwork. If it’s after hours you can use our 24/7 rental kiosk or even easier, rent online!
  • Move your stuff in and lock it up! That’s it.
Do I need to rent a unit before I move?

It’s highly recommended, but you can swing by unannounced and start storing, however we cannot guarantee your first choice unit will be available in that case.

What will I need to rent a unit?

To rent your space, you’ll need to bring:

  • One form of government-issued photo ID (typically a driver’s license or passport)
  • Your first month’s payment, a lock to secure your unit (If you don’t have one, you can buy one from us at the facility).
Can I rent month-to-month?

Yes! All of our rentals are month-to-month.

What size are your units?

Our units range from Closet sized, measuring 5′ x 5′, all the way to Extra Large Units, 10′ x 30′ which have up to 300 square feet. No matter what, we’ve got a space to fit your needs.

How much space should I rent?

If you need help determining the right space, give our Storage Advisors a ring at 603-448-1200. They’ll take an inventory of your belongings and recommend the perfect size.

Do you have climate-controlled units?

Yes we have units that are fully heated and air-conditioned at our Enfield location.

Are my stored items insured?

You are responsible for insuring the items you store with us, we do not provide any coverage. If you have homeowner’s or renter’s insurance, you may already be covered. Check you policy to be sure.

What are your hours?

Our facility is open 24/7 to tenants using their unique pass-code. You can rent on site through our convenient kiosk anytime of the day or night or online using our website. If you want to speak with a real person then our office hours are 9-5 M-F except major holidays.

Do you provide locks or keep a copy of my key?

You can either provide your own lock or purchase one from us at the facility. We do have a key to your unit; you keep the key and are the only one with access to your space.

How do I access the facility?

In front of the gate to each facility is a key pad that will allow you to enter your unique pass code. Follow the instructions provided at the time of rental or on the sign by the key pad; no sign-in or ID check required. Carts and dollies are available to make it easier to move things in and out of your unit.

What happens if I forget or lose my pass-code and/or lock key?

Give us a call or stop by and once we have verified it is you, then we can give you your code again. We don’t have a copy of your lock key so if you lose your key, we may have to cut your lock to grant you access.

Do you have an automatic payment program?

We do. In fact, most of our customers use our Autobill service for convenience. If you choose this method, we’ll automatically deduct your monthly charge from a credit card or debit card. No checks to mail and no late fees!

Can I manage my account online?

Absolutely. Once you’ve logged on to your website, you can pay bills, view your account history and update your account information automatically.

What happens if I’m late on my payment?

All payments are due on the 1st of the month. However, we provide a 10-day grace period before charging a late fee of ten percent on the 11th of the month. To avoid the possibility of late fees, we recommend signing up for Autobill. Gate access is restricted after the 6th of the month until your rent is paid.

How do I move out?

Though we hate to see anyone go, we make the move-out process as simple as possible. Just let us know you’re leaving and empty your unit, and we’ll close out your account that day. As a courtesy, we ask that you give us at least 5 days notice before your intended move-out date. If you move out before the 20th of the month with a notice we will pro rate back any unused rent. Move outs after the 20th of the month are not pro-rated.

What happens if I’m really late on my rent?

There are several bad things that could happen a that point. Your unit would be over locked with one of our locks. You will receive several late notices and if you still haven’t gotten the word than we have to place a lien on your stuff. We really hate to do this and you’ll really hate when we have to do it. If all else fails your stuff can be sold at public auction to satisfy what you owe. Don’t make us do this!
